About Me

Well Hello World!
Welcome to my personal blog LMB^Box: About Me. The main reasons behind creating and running this blog are having a place to post how I feel and what I’m going through, to find info about all my plugins for WordPress that I create, and a place for employers to find my info and resume. To contact me, please us my Contact Me page.

My Info: :rasberry_ee:
Name: Thomas Montague
Sex: Male
Age: 19
Height: 5′ 8″
Weight: 180 lbs
Race: White

I love working with technoloy/computers. I build and tweek computer systems to get the most out of them. I love fixing problems that are really a pain in the butt, I never give up! I’m currently living in Culpeper, Va. USA, a small town in the middle of NOTHING. I would love to move to the city or at least something bigger! Fairfax is where I’m currently looking for a job to jump me off, but it’s not going well. I want to end up living in the UK, England rocks! I want to be a Telecommunications Administrator or Technician working on WAN and LAN setups for customers. I love the idea of traveling the world, like my Networking I & II (CCNA) teacher did before he became a teacher, spending a day or two taking care of work then having a day or two to have fun! I’m a serious worker and when it’s time to work and get the job done, that’s what I do. Then when it’s all done, I love to have fun too! I like to game, but I really haven’t done much of it for the last year. I also played soccer and refereed soccer too. I was a keeper/goalie and enjoyed playing very much. Like gaming, I haven’t played soccer for a good year or two.

My Site:
My site that I run is LMB^Box - www.lmbbox.com I’ve tried to do many things with my main site like having a Gaming section that would have info about games and info about a Gaming Cafe that I would open. I’ve also tried to setup a Backups section that would let customers buy backup copies of games (PC, PS, PS2) and software. Even before all this, I tried to do some reseller hosting but that really didn’t turn out well. I would like to get a dedicated server and sell some of the server’s resources to pay for the dedicated server and maybe make some money. I’ve also used my site to sell some items on ebay. I may in the near future open up my shop and Backups sections to try to sell some of the games and software as backup copies, but I wouldn’t really have that vast of a selection.

Well I think that this is about it for now. I may add some more info as it comes up. Please enjoy my site and if you need any help or would like any info, feel free to contact me. Also, any ideas or comments are more then welcome!

Hi - I installed the WP Smileys and everything seemed to be going well. When I went to my comments section and clicked on the smileys link I got an error in the popup window that says “Error: Smiley Page called incorrectly!”

    What do you think?

You are using LMB^Box Smileys version 2.1 right? There are tests done in the lmbbox-smileys-popup.php file within the lmbbox-smileys folder that check to see if you have smileys enabled on your blog and if you have smileys enabled on your comments.

Go to your Options >> Writing Page, and make sure that “Convert emoticons like :-) and :-P to graphics on display” is checked. Then go to your LMB^Box Smileys Option Page and make sure that you have smileys enabled in your comments. This should help …

Hold on there! I just when to your site and it looks like the link that you added to the lmbbox-smileys-popup.php page is NOT complete! It needs to pass a “?action=comment” at the end of the link. If you upgraded from version 2.0 to 2.1, the full code to add the correct link is in the readme.txt and lmbbox-smileys.php file at the top. Please try this … and I hope this helps … also it would be a very good idea if you haven’t upgraded to 2.1 to go ahead and do so … it adds a management page to add, edit, manage, and remove Smileys Lists. :thumbup_tb:

On another note, please don’t comment here about plugins. Either post a comment on one of my posts about that plugin or on the plugin’s page that I have setup. Thanks :tongue_tb:
