I know I havn’t been posting and updating as much as I wish and I’m sorry … … I’ve been very busy with alot of other things going on. I thought that I would have the next release of my LMB^Box FilePress done a week ago, but with everything else going on I havn’t had to time like I wanted to. So I don’t think that the next release of FilePress will be poking its head out anytime soon … sorry everyone!

On another note, there was a comment about using a different way to process the LMB^Box Smileys Tags and if I get time to look into this I’ll see if it’s a good update …

I also have an idea that came from Podz about having a downloadable version of the WordPress Codex. I’m looking into creating an auto/manual query PHP script/plugin that would add an additional menu (like “Codex” or “Help”) and page that would allow your to select all of some of the WordPress Codex and Download a pdf version of it (it would be up to the minute lastest version of the WordPress Codex). I’ll have to look into this one some more, but once again I have to find the time!

I have a few other ideas for new plugins … some useful and then just plain fun! I’ll be pretty much gone (like I have been) until I finish something or come up with something else, but I will try to keep up and respond to any comments posted or emails I get.

I’m updating my WordPress install to 1.5.2, so for the next 10-20 mins my site may be down or just funky. I will update when I’m done.

Well that’s it! I have just updated to WordPress version 1.5.2 and everything is good. There should be no problems with my site from now on.

Ok, this is a poll to see what’s in your WordPress Admin Panel!

I want to know if you use the standard Plain Text Box with Quicktags to write posts and pages or do you use a WYSIWYG editor plugin/hack Which do you prefer … which is easier for you … any comment you have about your choice

Please, anyone who views this post and uses WordPress for their blog … please just take a moment and fill out a comment about which one you use, why you like it, and (if it’s a WYSIWYG editor) what is the plugin’s/hack’s name (a link would be nice too ).

I’m polling this because of my LMB^Box FilePress and LMB^Box Smileys plugins … I wanted to see how many of the WordPress users out there use the default Plain Text Box or install one of the WYSIWYG editors, this way I can add compatiblity to my plugins. I thank you all for taking the time to read this and making any comments you may make …

I didn’t have time to update this post last night … it was a long day and night! Busy with lots of other things needing to be done plus with the fact that I’m updating my site, a MAJOR update! Well, everything is just about done. The main files are up and the system is running. I just have to finish editing all the settings and content … you will just get a down for maintenance page when trying to view my main site. Oh yes, almost all the subdomains are down also. The only ones still up are aboutme.lmbbox.com, forums.lmbbox.com, nicki.lmbbox.com, and shop.lmbbox.com (even though this one will throw errors since some of the files it needs are gone!). I’ll update more later …

I’ve been trying to get a handle on Mambo for the past couple of weeks but it’s just not working out right! I’m thinking about trying something else … but everything else that I’ve looked at was crap or didn’t work like I needed it to. Bottom line is that the CMS System has to be PHP/MySQL powered, Pluginable, and Open Source! I guess I’ll have to try some more of these different ones and I’ll just keep working on Mambo, but until further notice, www.lmbbox.com is down for maintenance!

I finially decided to create my PERSONAL Gmail account! I already had my business one but decided to invite myself and create a personal one to use instead of “tmontague AT lmbbox DOT com”. This way incase if anything should happen to my server or domain, etc. my email will still work! Gmail has SOOO many servers, there is pratically NO risk of any LONG periods of down time and bounced emails! Sooo … my new email that I will be using from now on is “montague DOT thomas AT gmail DOT com” … damn them that took my “tmontague” and “thomas DOT montague”! Oh well, I’m happy that I just have one that looks professional and will almost NEVER DIE!
